Hillside Community Church believes that God can use all of us to show his love to the hurting world around us. As a church, we have chosen to support missions on a local level as well as provincially and nationally/internationally. Some of our people have been blessed to go on short-term missions trips with organizations we support and some amazing personal friendships have been formed through this.

House of the Risen Son is a Christian Biker Ministry in Winnipeg, MB. The purpose of this ministry is:

Youth For Christ

Youth for Christ mission is to communicate the life changing message of Jesus Christ to every young person. Their mandate is to provide assistance and acceptance to teenagers through their trying and sometimes difficult years. Youth For Christ, Morden exists to assist in mobilizing our Christian community to reach lost youth and to do so by all possible means. The youth of our community are looking for something strong to follow. Our desire is to model Christ as best we can to give them that example.


Continental Missions

Continental Mission Inc. shares the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ and to build His church among the Indigenous people of Canada’s North, primarily in Northern Manitoba. This mission has a special place in the hearts of some of our own members/attendees and they make an annual trip up north to work with the Continental Missions staff to get the camp ready for the summer campers, and maintenance, repairs etc. some of our local ladies also get together on a weekly basis to prepare and sew layettes and baby blankets for new babies. In 2007, more than 215 layettes will have been sewn and distributed amongst the indigenous people.
